『加藤和彦の死去から3年(2013年時)。彼への追悼の意を深くこめた、ザ・フォーク・クルセダーズによるトリビュート・アルバム。盟友・北山修と、2000年代よりフォークルのメンバーに加わった坂崎幸之助が集結!フォークルから、加藤のソロの名曲までカヴァーするとともに、加藤ヴォーカルによる未発表曲他も収録した、第四次フォークルの作品集。』TOWER RECORDS 解説より

＊正直、坂崎幸之助のモノマネ企画(特に⑫は本人との区別が出来ないほど)の感はぬぐいされないが、もし故はしだのりひこを説得して参加させていたら…と考えると惜しい企画盤です。(タラレバですが)。尚、商品は初回盤ですが、購入時の外箱は付いておりません。

②は、

フォーク・クルセダーズの一員として、そして解散後はシューベルツやジローズ、クライマックス等の多くの歌手やアーティストに詩を提供してきた北山修の通算3枚目の1981年発表のアルバム。正直唄が上手とは言えない北山氏ですが、加藤和彦作曲でトワ・エ・モワに提供した女性ヴォーカルとのデュエット曲「初恋の人に似ている」やベッツィ＆クリスに提供した「白い色は恋人の色」などで牧歌的な良い味を出しています。堺正章の歌った「さらば恋人」は、1971年のレコード大賞大衆賞を受賞しています。

[Free shipping] A new folk album (?) including the unreleased song "Te to Te Te to Te" by Kazuhiko Kato, who passed away in 2009, and a collection of works by Kato that Konosuke Sakazaki and Osamu Kitayama have paid tribute to, including "Theater of Life" that was offered to Toi et Moi during his lifetime, and a collection of self-covers by Kitayama himself with lyrics written by Kitayama. This is not a rental item.

Allies Osamu Kitayama and Konosuke Sakazaki, who joined the Folk Crusaders in the 2000s, come together! A collection of works by the Fourth Folk Crusaders, covering everything from Folk Crusaders to Kato's solo masterpieces, as well as unreleased songs with Kato's vocals. "The birth of the Fourth Folk Crusaders' new album. From the liner notes on the obi, "From the new Japanese and French versions of "Imjin River" and self-covers such as "Sad and Frustrating," to the unreleased "Te to Te Te to Te," and the title song created based on the demo tape that became Kazuhiko Kato's last work, a total of 14 songs packed with things to listen to that transcend time and space."

*Honestly, it feels like a project to imitate Konosuke Sakazaki (especially ⑫, which is so indistinguishable from the real thing), but if they had persuaded the late Norihiko Hashida to participate... it's a shame. (I know, but I'm wondering what would have happened). This is the first edition, but it does not come with the original outer box.

② is the third album released in 1981 by Osamu Kitayama, who was a member of the Folk Crusaders and, after the band's disbandment, provided lyrics for many singers and artists such as the Schuberts, the Jiros, and Climax. To be honest, Kitayama is not a good singer, but he has a nice pastoral flavor in songs such as "Hatsukoi no Hito Ni Nitai" (It's Like My First Love), a duet with a female vocalist that he composed for Toi et Moi and "Shiroi Iro wa Koibito no Iro" (White Color is My Lover's Color), which he wrote for Betsy & Chris. "Saraba Koibito" (Goodbye Lover), sung by Sakai Masaaki, won the Record Grand Prix Popular Award in 1971.
