ディズニーと直接ライセンス契約を結ぶ前の 1930 年代のドールを彷彿とさせるものです。当時、ウォルトはミッキーの似顔絵について発言権を持っていませんでした。ケイケイメンがウォルトとロイと契約を結び、唯一のライセンス代理人となるまで、発言権はありませんでした。彼の合意では、今後はウォルトがあらゆる商品を承認する必要があるとされていました。そのため、これらのドールは、この時期には製造されなくなりました。

Product Description (I borrowed the detailed description from an overseas website)

This doll is reminiscent of dolls from the 1930s, before Walt signed a direct licensing agreement with Disney. At the time, Walt had no say in Mickey's portrait. It was only when Kay Kamen signed a contract with Walt and Roy to be the sole licensing agent that he had a say. That contract stated that from now on Walt would have to approve all products. Thus, at this point, these dolls were no longer manufactured.
